Layering story 1 MONIKA is a 16 year old girl. She lives with her parents in a large house on the edge of town. Daddy owns a family firm, making and marketing fashionable knitwear and fur garments. Mammy helps him in his work. They are quite rich and MONIKA is allowed to relax and enjoy their loving attention and sound financial support. She doesn't go to school because her parents have decided that she should be educated alone at home. The house is protected by intruder detection systems around the perimeter of the grounds. She is pretty, nicely built with short hair and she loves her Daddy and Mammy. MONIKA gets up in the morning at eight when Mammy switches on the light and gently arouses her. Leisurely she is unwrapped and undressed from her night clothes. She is hot and sweaty, which indicates that she has slept well. She goes to the bathroom where she happily bathes and then dries herself down. After that she returns to join Mammy back in the bedroom, where although it is summertime she must properly dress herself to be nice and warm. Actually, on the radio it is predicted that today it will be 28 degrees which, as Mammy would say, means that MONIKA could quite easily catch cold which can never be allowed. 1st layer - as always, MONIKA puts on a nappy, in order to avoid any problems later. Then she pulls on rubber panties and a pair of woollen tights. Then she slips herself into a white long-sleeved woollen T-shirt. 2nd layer - she puts on a pair of shoe socks and then reaches for her white angora leggings. After that, a delicate roll-neck in the same material. She sweeps her hair back and then pulls a white woollen mask over her head, which leaves her face free around the mouth and eyes. 3rd layer - MONIKA pulls on some short white knit socks, then a thick and heavy combination of knee socks, a sweater with hood and gloves. The sleeves of the sweater must be tucked nicely under the cuffs of her gloves. 4th layer - she pulls herself into a thick roll-neck sweater of sheep fleece with a high collar. 5th layer - and then a matching jersey with a round neck. On her lower body she carefully pulls on scratchy woollen tights. 6th layer - a further pair of short socks and then knee-socks. Slowly and gently she pulls a pair of thick, scratchy mittens onto her hands, whose long cuffs extend up to her elbows. Next she dresses herself in a woollen vest, then with a smile she pulls on a further woollen mask and sweater, immersing herself in the white woolliness. She dresses carefully, leisurely and skilfully, with an almost religious reverence to every item of clothing in which she becomes enveloped. 7th layer - now there follows a single white woollen overall with attached hood, gloves and socks. MONIKA sees it as her duty to wear all that is required, whatever the time of year. Only at this stage does she now decide with Mammy, what style and colour of clothes she will wear today. Mammy decides on a pink design today because she loves it so much and MONIKA suits it so well. 8th layer - as a consequence she is gradually offered pink mohair short-socks, knee-socks, mittens and cowl-neck sweater. Slowly and surely pink covers white. MONIKA pulls the cowl up over her head and ties the drawstring tight around her face. Mammy has to help her because she already has four layers of gloves covering her hands. 9th layer - next she pulls on a beautiful pink mohair roll-neck with a massive collar which she folds over four times. 10th layer - then follow heavy, fluffy knickers which reach high up her tummy, then a soft and fluffy sleeveless vest and then a thick buttoned-up cardigan. From behind, Mammy passes her a cobweb-knit mohair scarf, which MONIKA wraps several times around her neck and then knots. MONIKA is then allowed to come to breakfast, where she meets Daddy for the first time of the day. "Good morning darling", says Daddy and straps MONIKA into her chair. "Today is a beautiful day, I hope you'll try a little walk with Mammy". "That would be lovely", says MONIKA as Mammy throws a bib over her head, in order to be sure that they don't dirty her beautiful clothing, and starts to feed her. Eventually MONIKA drinks down her warm tea and milk, before her parents complete their breakfast. "When you're sure she is dressed properly you could go out onto the veranda", says Daddy and rises from the table. "I'm off to work and will bring you some lovely things home. You have a nice day", he says, and then leaves. "And we're off to get you dressed", says Mammy and leads MONIKA back into the bedroom. It's already 11 o-clock and she is glowing nicely with the first warmth of the day. 11th layer - MONIKA pulls a huge mohair mask over her head, which has a gap for her eyes. On her hands she puts mohair mittens, a colossal roll-neck and knickers, to which Mammy adds thick mohair legwarmers. Naturally this is complimented by another pair of knee-socks. 12th layer - another mohair mask, roll-neck, mittens, legwarmers and knee-socks. 13th layer - to ensure MONIKA doesn't get cold Mammy now changes the material and pulls from the rack a thick overall knitted from 100% sheep's wool. Before she puts this on, MONIKA fits over her head a thick mask of the same material, which similarly has an opening for her eyes and a long neck section which extends down over her shoulders and is secured in place under her arms. Then MONIKA sits on the edge of the bed and leisurely begins to pull the overall over her lower body. She does it with loving care, in order to safely hold in place and overlay her existing clothing. The overall is beautifully thick and warm as well as tight and resilient, so pulling it over the mohair isn't at all easy. Mammy finally helps with the last part, as she has plenty of experience of this and does it with pleasure. The overall has socks and mittens built in. Of course it also has a hood and she can close it at the front with a zipper. Mammy pulls up the zipper, pulls the hood over MONIKAs head, does up a woollen belt around her middle and with a similar woollen cord seals the hood in place around her neck. Already MONIKA is not able to speak at all clearly. Under the woollen mask she can see but can only mumble. But this ritual has been shared between them for so long that Mammy instinctively reads MONIKAs gestures and understands her needs completely. She has been to the bathroom once today and she will not eat or drink now until the evening, but she already knows that. Her face, like all other parts of her body, must have sufficient protection against exposure to sunshine or wind. Because of this, she will dress herself accordingly. 14th layer - MONIKA is given another pair of woollen legwarmers and socks. MONIKA can see what is required and allows her range of movement to become restricted. Of course, Mammy is there to help her and she gradually puts on more and more pink clothes. A thick woollen ski mask, a beautiful massive roll-neck. 15th layer - long socks reaching her thighs, more legwarmers, another roll-neck. 16th layer - after a sweater with a round neck, a new ski mask and sleeveless vest. 17th layer - more legwarmers, a balaclava, a hooded sweater. 18th layer - another roll-neck. 19th layer - and then a cardigan put on backwards and buttoned up her back, including the high collar. MONIKA lives through this dressing ritual every day, and it can last a long time. It always lasts through the morning and may last through to evening or night, maybe longer. Mammy will rest for a while now, therefore MONIKA lowers herself into an easy chair wrapped in a fur robe whose hood is drawn tight to blindfold her, and Mammy goes to make herself coffee. MONIKA is very hot, but this is normal, she has never experienced anything other than this. Calmly she accepts her sightless situation, waiting for Mammy to return. I'm back up here darling and ready to continue", Mammy says as she returns after an hour. She discovers MONIKA and helps her get up. By now it is a bit windier out on the veranda and accordingly she must put on some more clothes, so we won't get cold, as Daddy said. 20th layer - MONIKA reseats herself on the edge of the bed and Mammy pushes over her feet a pair of knee-length, zippered sheep fleece socks which are zipped up tight around her lower legs. Following that a pair of beautiful, thick baggy pants which reach down to her knees and whose leg-sections are zippered tightly shut along her thighs. Next a vest whose sleeves are sealed shut at her hands, mittens with lace-up cuffs and a jacket with hood. All of sheep fleece. MONIKA has Mammy make sure that everything is nicely arranged and buttoned up. Her hood is pulled up and laced tightly shut, so that MONIKA's head is reasonably protected from any wind. Next, a colossal fur overall is pulled up over her female frame. The inner surface of the overall is coyote fur which envelops her completely, the outer surface is a heavy cashmere knit. The sleeves extend past her fingers and are easily pulled tight shut with drawstrings. 21st layer - to compliment the overall, Mammy first fits massive fur mittens over MONIKAs hands, then a sleeveless fur waistcoat and over her head a fluffy hat with ear-flaps which is tied tightly in place with cords under her chin. 22nd layer - next MONIKA leisurely climbs into another fur overall. Firstly her lower body, where she must use all her strength to pull it up to her waist, then gradually one arm and the next. She has to be very skilful, to manoeuvre her arms into the sleeves. Everything is done with loving care, caution and the utmost attention to detail. Already MONIKA can hardly move, her hands have been rendered useless and she is totally reliant on Mammy's assistance. 23rd layer - now Mammy fits MONIKA with a pair of colossal fur lace-up boots and fastens their laces up to her knees. After this, she puts her into a huge fur bag with shoulder straps, which fully encloses her lower body. 24th layer - together they now dress MONIKA in an odd garment, a sleeveless fur dress which extends down to her ankles, with scalloped fox-fur edges at neck, arms and hem-line. The dress has lacings up her spine and is designed to be very tight when fully fitted. Mammy pulls the cords tight, drawing the dress firmly around her entire body and MONIKA's ability to move has now become beautifully restricted. With extreme effort she is able to take the smallest of steps. However, Mammy is unfailing and unstoppable in her desire to clothe her daughter as well as possible. 25th layer - a long sable fur with double-thickness shoulder cape comes immediately next. 26th coat - then a long she-bear fur jacket, sleeveless, whose collar and (before that) hood Mammy secures in place with multiple coils of a long, white, woollen scarf. At last Mammy follows on with the real treats. Beautiful and luxurious, floor-length fur kimonos of various breeds of fur with colossal, muffler collars. Mammy puts these on MONIKA gradually. 27th layer - first a wonderful beaver firmly limits MONIKAs movement even more than her other clothes have done so far. Mammy ties the belt firmly and then fetches another fox fur kimono with long sleeves. 28th layer - "Safety first", Mammy thinks and pulls up the collar of the fur below around MONIKAs head before pulling up the fox kimono and tying it firmly in place. 29th layer - in the same way she is dressed in the next massive beaver fur kimono. 30th layer - and then a flamboyant, massive, long, fluffy kimono from coyote. The belts are tied firmly in place and then MONIKA is turned around to face the chrome rail, which starts where she stands. Mammy takes an 8 metre, 25cm wide cashmere stole scarf and coils it firmly around MONIKAs middle as many times as possible. She looks forward to her afternoon relaxing with MONIKA and thinks about whether she is ready yet for the temperature outside. She looks at her work in creating the confined, sculpted being in front of her which is MONIKA. Next Mammy wraps another similar scarf around MONIKAs neck. Little by little she tucks up all the massive kimono collars so that MONIKAs head is muffled up and lost in the fur garments. Each individual item of neckwear is carefully inserted through the coils of a further long, cashmere scarf which is firmly coiled around MONIKAs head and tied at the front. Then, the excess protruding length of each item of neckwear is turned down again as far as it will go, creating around MONIKAs head a beautiful and exceedingly bulky band of fur. Only now is Mammy contented with MONIKA and the fear of her catching cold subsides. And MONIKA, who can now hardly move at all, has moved onto a higher plane of thought during the lengthy layering process and knows she has not missed a single stage in the ritual. For her things are exceedingly hot, and she knows that because of the ritual she is now safe. "Now I'm going to get myself dressed", says Mammy, "and you must wait for me. Afterwards we can go out onto the veranda." She rests MONIKA against the chrome handrail and leaves the room. It's now 3 o'clock in the afternoon and outside it is warm and sunny, the thermometer outside the window is showing 30 degrees and Mammy thinks about what she should wear. She takes off her house clothes and tries despite her nudity to look at herself in the mirror. For 39 years she has been living the ritual herself, and it appears to be suiting her. Mammy loves these moments, when she is able to see herself become abandoned to her compulsive addiction. She takes out her comb and straightens her hair, after which she puts it into a plait. First she dresses herself in woollen panties and brassiere. Next she puts on white knit tights and a roll-neck. She immerses her head in a white mask and her hands in mittens. Then comes a white woollen sweater with a hood, warm knit legwarmers and knee-socks. She pulls up her hood around her head, ties it securely in place and then puts on a sweater with contrasting legwarmers. Immediately she pulls on a thick roll-neck sweater, folding the collar over twice to nicely constrict her neck. Next from the wardrobe comes a nice woollen overall with a hood and cable-stitch design, incorporating contrasting coloured gloves and lower body section. She pulls on the hood and zips the overall up to her neck. Then she does up the inclusive woollen belt and the cord around the neck. Following on from this, Mammy pulls up a pair of resilient leggings, which constrict her thighs and lower body nicely. Now she adds a pair of thick, warm knit tights from white angora wool and then cosy legwarmers and knee-socks. She lays a big, soft, fluffy scarf on her head, crosses it under her chin and then coils it around her neck, finally knotting it at the front. Now Mammy dresses herself in a thick angora roll-neck with a high collar over her scarf, then she puts on contrasting legwarmers. Next another angora roll-neck which extends down to her thighs. Mammy then sits on the edge of the bed and pulls onto her feet a pair of high fur-lined lace-up boots. Then one-by-one she puts on five voluminous, heavy, rich, warm, fluffy angora skirts which are each secured at her waist. Next comes a long, white angora roll-neck dress, which Mammy ensures covers all her skirts. After that, another cream angora dress with a bulky roll-neck and a brown sleeveless angora dress. She checks that the collars have produced an extensive bulk around her head. Next, Mammy puts on a very thick and warm angora cardigan which is long and reaches down to her knees. Everything is pulled tightly around her waist with a leather belt. Now she dresses in contrasting leather gloves and a narrow, brown leather corset with a skirt, which is scallop-edged and lined in short-sheared beaver fur. On her head she puts a colossal, brown, fashionable wide-brimmed beaver fur hat, as wide as an umbrella with a big, gauzy silken veil attached to the rim. Finally, she picks up a big, fluffy beaver fur with a hood and returns to MONIKA. She waits, quietly as usual, leaning against the handrail. "I'm here as close as I can be darling", says Mammy and guides MONIKA out into the garden. The garden at the house is very grand, with high fortification walls and is full of greenery, flowers and trees. Outside it is calm and sunny. MONIKA steps ever so slowly, leaning on Mammy for guidance. "You're getting along quite nicely on your own now dear, and you can follow the handrail along the marble pathway", says Mammy and lets go of MONIKA, walking backwards in front of her, keeping them both face-to-face. She puts on the big beaver fur and seats herself on a bench along the path. She looks out for MONIKA and watches her closely. MONIKA is all right, she is warm and has plenty of clothes on. She progresses very slowly and takes only tiny steps. She has to ensure she walks with the utmost of care, in order to succeed. She doesn't want Mammy to get angry and to discipline her. All her life, MONIKA has done everything she can to ensure her Mammy is contented with her. They continue like this, and share a lovely afternoon together. And Daddy will soon be returning from work. After two hours, Mammy returns MONIKA to the house. She will have to start to prepare supper, when they can plan their daughter's night-time. MONIKA continues to stay on her feet but sadly becomes tired after a while, whereupon Mammy lowers her into a chair. She takes off her own big beaver fur and removes her veil and hat. Next she undresses MONIKA from her four fur kimonos, the bear fur waistcoat, the long sable fur with hood, and also the bootlace fur dress and fur knickers. She removes her long fur leggings and keeps her in the beautiful fur overall with hood. She watches some TV, after checking on MONIKA to discuss her plans for bedtime. Eventually, she switches off the TV, checks on MONIKA again and goes to prepare supper. Throughout her cooking she remains nicely dressed, she's just about boiling, but she never minds. She pulls some ready-cooked meat from the refrigerator and puts it into the microwave. At that moment, Daddy returns and gives Mammy a kiss. "You look wonderful today", he tells her. "How is MONIKA getting along?" "Fine, Mammy replies. "I'll get her undressed in a moment, so that she can be fed. Afterwards we can decide with our lovely daughter how she will sleep." After supper has been prepared, Mammy takes off MONIKA the fur overall, fur cap, vest and mittens, then come the sheepskin clothes, all the pink woollen legwarmers, sweaters, roll-necks, balaclava and knee-socks. Then comes the robust woollen overall and the three woollen and mohair masks. Only now does MONIKA have part of her face free so she can eat and drink. All three dine together, whereupon Daddy says "Tomorrow is MONIKAs birthday and along with Mammy we've prepared a big surprise." Although MONIKA is very inquisitive she has to wait, but only until tomorrow. After supper MONIKA wishes to bathe. Daddy will wash the dishes, because Mammy is not ready to undress yet. Mammy helps MONIKA remove all her other clothes, quickly so that her body temperature does not drop too low. Tomorrow Daddy will take all these things to the company wash-house, where they will receive special care. Then MONIKA goes to the bathroom, where she washes herself well and dries herself down. Already MONIKA is dreaming about the night ahead.
